Poll question: Would you fly on Hooters Air? |
|
Recently found out such an airline existed and it made me wonder about who the clientele are that fly the friendly skies with the scantily clad women.
Please share any thoughts you have on the airline or restaurant. It would be interesting to get both male and female perspectives.

1. I think it does only charter flights |
|
Guys going to Vegas for bachelor parties, doctors & lawyers going on fishing trips, that kind of thing. I don't think the "general public" can just buy tickets and fly somewhere.

6. Nope, if you were interested |

You're in luck. It has regular service to Atlanta, Myrtle Beach, Nassau from smaller airports. http://www.hootersair.com/

but this was before my time, perhaps someone older and wiser than myself could comment.
I voted no, I would fly the airline if it was a comparative value(ticket wise). To do otherwise is to support misogyny.

I got dragged there once. Hated it, it's demeaning to everyone there.

10. It is my understanding |

That HootersAir came about becaise Myrtle Beach NC was going to lose jet service and the Hooter's owner lives there and started it as a civic service/moneymaking venture. If I was going to Myrtle Beach, then I would fly it. Maybe over and over and over and over and over...

I don't really think it would be an enjoyable experience though. Unless one of the flight attendants took a liking to me.

17. if I wanted to fly with my husband |
|
Since 9/11 it would take more than skimpy orange shorts to get my husband on board. If he had Hooters to look forward to, perhaps he would get on that plane. I'd actually prefer an airline that catered to pampering women. Perhaps with great sympathy and soothing. No men allowed.

18. Your husband still won't fly? |
|
Has that caused any problems? Statistically, driving his vehicle is MUCH more dangerous.
I like your idea for an airline. :-)
