Man, I'm not used to this. I haven't cared about any sport but figure skating in years. Any of you vets have coping strategies?

I went through this every time the O's were losing (which has been alot the last few years). Once ain't bad and when a bunch of them get strung together, sadly you get used to it.

I've been a Cub fan for 40 years and nothing ever changes with them. Also keep in mind that it's very early in the season yet, but don't get your hopes up at anytime.

I can't believe I found a fellow figure skating fan on DU. How exciting!! Who are you're fave skaters? Just wondering.

22. Sadly, most of them are pro or on their way out

Kwan and Yagudin are my favorite singles skaters; Kwan may make it to the next Olympics but the worlds were not encouraging. Haven't seem much of Yagudin this year but I really haven't been following that well. Always had a big soft spot for Sale and Pelletier but also always rooted for Shen and Zhao who have not been doing too well lately either, I hear.
