i get these time to time but it`s the website..i never had any problems with firefox. the download finally work on mozzila

5. That sounds like a connection problem related to your browser.

Are you on any kind of proxy server? You may need fix your Firefox's connection settings.

Also are you using any kind of software firewall like Zone Alarm for example? Make sure it's configured to allow Firefox access.

set norton to ignore firefox? that's probably not the most secure thing in the world to do, but it could be a temporary fix at least...i know you can do that with zonealarm

17. i've been poking around a bit
on tech forums for you, and the general consensus seems to be that norton's firewall sucks and makes configuring web browsers very difficult.

you might want to consider using a different firewall--you could use XP's built in one, or better yet, ZoneAlarm, which is free, and which will definitely not have this problem

The bad news is I don't use NF so I unfortunately can't can't walk you through it. The best I can tell you is to open up NF and look in the options menu for program access or control.

I'm thinking NF should have detected Firefox automatically when you first connected. Try rebooting and see if it detects then.

9. uninstall and than reinstall
if that doesnt work go in to your registry and remove all traces of it, than reinstall.. BTW, stop looking at those porn sites..j/k
