"You haven't heard the last of this hippie!"
a little taste of Earth first post.

What kind of stuff have you had yelled/said to you by neocons?

For me while riding a bike "Get a car fag!"

I didn't know that riding a bike had anything to do with sexual orentation...thank god I know that now.

44. "Another Commie for Kerry"
And this happened just the other day. I drove up to Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton, and had my kid with me. Some fuckers in a parked car noticed my Kerry sticker on the back of my car and said it when I pulled up.

So I got out of the car (side note: I look like I can fight, even though I don't) and I got in the assholes face and said

"You got a lot of NERVE asshole, to say that to a man with a baby..."

The asshole was speechless and drove away.

2. Actually, I think that
wingnuts, rednecks, and assorted other right-wing dings use "faggot" or "homo" as a general epithet, it doesn't necessarily mean they think the person's gay.

Kinda like how they used to use "nigger", but they can't do that anymore so they just use "fag" or "homo" generically.

While riding my bike "Nice tights freak"

While protesting:

"Coward" (I'm a vet)

"Four more years" (of death and destruction?)

"Support the president" ( I did vote for Gore)

"Pathetic" (to which I answered, "So's your Mom", making the Freeper get out of his car to come kick my ass but the cops intercepted him and someone hit his car, what a great day!)

anti-war bumper stickers on my old car, I'd get both positive and negative reactions. Last night we saw a Bush sticker on a Cambridge Police car, and we were going to call and say that we don't want our tax money to pay for political advertisements.

How can anyone in a union vote Republican? Not to mention that the police and firemen in the Northeast are getting mere pennies of the homeland security budget, while their brethren in Wyoming have state of the art technology.

been charged with treason for their anti-Clinton rhetoric and actions during his presidency! Then you'll get the, "well, that's not the same thing" bullshit. Then ask them why it "isn't the same thing" and have fun watching their two brain cells try to figure THAT one out! It's amazing to me that they just don't see the total, complete hypocrisy in that.

"You're fucking Crazy"

When I had Veterans support Kerry on the back of my car
this dude said "don't imply that all vets support Kerry
I'm a vet and I don't support him" I had time to respond so
I asked "do you support the Constitution" he said "yes"
to which I responded "so you don't support bush" He quickly
rolled up his window to keep his child from hearing
anymore truth from me and zoomed off.

This other guy scowling at my car in a parking lot
was walking by , I asked him if he even read the stickers
to which he replied "It doesn't matter you drive a Volvo:crazy:

I have no idea what that was supposed to mean ..

On edit I almost forgot ....Someone (who I actually
should thank for giving me the idea to use window chalk)

29. I would really prefer to see people buy American carsbu
But more and more, American car companies (which, by the way, is only two now: GM and Ford) are making crap vehicles that hit the fan as soon as the warranty expires. So, more and more, I'm encouraging people to buy American less and less.

I'm definitely leaning towards a German-made, or even (western) European-made, car for my first. Probably a VW or a Volvo (yes I know they're Swedish. Support socialism!).

Nowadays, what's the difference between buying an American car that may be shit, or a car that may be owned by a Japanese company but is made by American workers at an American factory (so is still giving jobs to Americans).

I doubt they consider that much.

but the framed had been weakened by getting rear ended
so Just as soon as we could afford a different vehicle
that wouldn't fold like an accordian if it got into another

The car before my Chevy was a 1967 Lavender VW :-)

Before that (we still have it just don't drive it) a 1958

We do have right-wing yahoos in Connecticut, but they tend *not* to fly off the handle when they see left-leaning signs and bumper stickers. Hell, from time to time, I'll even encounter one who congenially tries to get me to "see the light!" :eyes:

Since there are so many out-of-the-closet liberals in the Nutmeg State, I guess the neocons must be used to seeing "all that left-wing garbage" on signs and bumper stickers!
