Silly question, is it possible to selectively shrink clothes? |
|
I bought some dress shirts on Thursday. The large ones were a tad tight but the XL ones were a bit too loose.
Is it possible to shrink 'em just a little?
They're 3% spandex/lycra, 97% cotton mix.
Thx!

YES, I can shrink anything. Whenever I wash new clothes they shrink, so I just buy them a size bigger. If they don't shrink I go for the baggy look, if they do then their just right!:toast:

I rush down to the nearest Grocery store, purchase 2 gallons of Chocolate Ice Cream, Popcorn, a pound of butter for the popcorn and like magic my clothes fit the next day! :)

3. ROTFLMAO!!!!!!! I'll consider that, but try this: |

Instead of putting butter on popcorn, buy a tub or two of "Shedd Spread Country Crock" and eat the whole thing with a spoon. That stuff is quite tasty...

...very hot water or a super hot dryer. It will shrink them slightly but the problem is that fabric shrunk that way doesn't shrink evenly and tends to have "Waves" in the fabric. Strange enough, I'm single, and have thought about buying a sewing machine and a "how to" book on sewing. That way I could change stuff to suit my whims :)
Aggggg..seriously
