3. It is ILLEGAL for John Kerry to participate!

Here is a copy of the email I have been sending around. It has just occurred to me that it is ILLEGAL for John Kerry to participate in the "Stolen Honor" documentary because the documentary is in violation of FCC and FEC rules. So their statement, "We have asked John Kerry to participate" is a red herring. It would be the same if they were to do a Pro-Bush story and had asked Bush to participate. He couldn't because it is against regulation rules.

Perhaps you are not aware of the legal implications of the obviously partisan program, "Stolen Honor" that you are planning to run on PUBLIC AIRWAY. I have copied some of the FCC regulations for you. Hopefully you will not decide to pay for all the law suits that WILL be brought against you if you air this film. The loss of your advertisers should be enough warning that people in the United States of America will not allow large corporations to get away with blatant partisan politics. I think that for you to even consider airing this “documentary” is shameful.

And don't think you are fooling anyone by saying that you invited John Kerry to participate. It is an obvious red herring because he can not participate because the show is unlawful according to FCC and FEC rules. And YOU KNOW THAT!

As a Toyota International teacher 2001 I object to Sinclair's bid to cancel prime time programming to air a negative John Kerry documentry before the November election. I know that Toyota strongly supports the Kyoto Protocol( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyoto_Protocol ) and I very much appreciated attending lecture by a Kyoto Protocol Scientist at your expense in Tokyo . John Kerry and John Edwards are offering alternatives to the Kyoto Protocol ( http://www.johnkerry.com/pdf/pr_2004_0819g.pdf ) and the Bush Administration believes the Kyoto Protocol to be "dead on arrival". Global Warming has been completely ignored by the Bush administration. Although Kerry/Edwards do not entirely support the Kyoto Protocol they are open to communication and offering alternatives that will decrease automotive emissions. Something Toyota has led the way in with it's outstanding Hybrid 'The Prius'. Please consider contacting Sinclair with your concerns about this deliberate attack on the one candidate who has fought for enviromental issues his entire Senate career.
