Click on breast cancer site
A Favor to Ask
It only takes a minute....

The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman .

It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "donating a mammogram" for free (pink window in the middle). This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising.

Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know.

3. AstraZeneca and Pink
I went to the site a clicked to help other women. But this Pink crap for survivors of breast cancer has got to stop. We need answers - not pink crap. We need to have investigations of the chemicals women are exposed to, including pesticides. We will likely find contributors to this killer.
AstraZeneca and others in the chemical industry want to keep the focus off of them so they have devised this pretty in pink campaign to honor survivors - Bullshit!
We want honest research. That will honor survivors and save generations of women from breast cancer.

"By 2005, breast cancer will become the No. 1 killer in the United
States. To combat this disease, the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca founded and continues to sponsor National Breast Cancer Awareness month every October. As the manufacturer of the breast cancer drug tamoxifen, AstraZeneca is at the forefront of treatment.

Meanwhile, treatment is coming more often for many women. According to the American Cancer Society, one in eight women will get breast cancer, and the rates continue to climb. The American Cancer Society also states that only 5 to 10 percent of breast cancer cases are genetic, so what causes the other 90 to 95 percent?

snip...
Numerous studies, however, have posited a link between certain pesticides and breast cancer, specifically organochlorines like acetochlor. Until a few years ago, when the company’s entire agrochemical division was sold off, acetochlor was manufactured by ... AstraZeneca
