Protest Makers of "Stolen Honor" Near Phila. on Tuesday Oct.19
Stolen Honor is the film that Sinclair Broadcasting is planning on showing on 62 TV stations right before the election.

The film will have its theater debut next Tuesday Oct. 19th in Abington (which is near Jenkintown just north of Philadelphia). The filmmaker Carlton Sherwood and John O'Neil, leader of Swift Boats for Lies, will be present.

The showing will be at the Baederwood 4 Theater. The admission price is $12.10. (It is being promoted by a talk show host from 1210 WPHT radio.) Tickets are only available at the theater box office.

The owner of the theater said in the Philadelphia Inquirer that he was deceived. He said that he would have never had agreed to rent the theater if he knew what it was for. He was simply told that they wanted to show a veterans movie for veterans.

The theater is in the Baederwood Shopping Center on Rt. 611 at The Fairway.

2. equal time
David Shuster's 10/12/04 article is excellent:

If "Stolen Honor" is shown on our tv airwaves, then it should be balanced, before the election, with an airing of "Fahrenheit 911".

3. Sinclair Action Guide
Michael Powell, the head of the FCC, has unfortunately already said that the FCC can't (won't) do anything about Sinclair airing the program. Its up to US now. Sinclair can try to ignore us, but if their ADVERTISERS hear from enough upset citizens, they'll start thinking about spending their ad dollars elsewhere, and Sinclair can't ignore THEM!

I came across a great little website that has all the info needed to take action against Sinclair:

Sinclair Rapid-Action Guide

It has advice for contacting advertisers, and even has names of station sales managers!
