LTTE tips? I.e., best day to send to get published on Sunday? |
|
I know this is incredibly weak for a forum on Activism/Events, but I've been obsessing all evening about newspaper endorsements, especially the Chicago Tribune, (Denver) Rocky Mountain News, and Omaha World-Herald all endorsing Bush in tomorrow's editions in the most cavalier (or at least cowboy) fashion: We gotta reelect him; he'll fight the terra-rists!
Sooo, maybe DU ought to consider organized letter-to-the-editor campaigns in the localities where papers endorse Bush (I mean among locals there; most papers won't print letters unless you provide a valid area address) and so I'm asking what's the best day to send such letters for maximum impact? (Long way to go for a simple question, wasn't it?)

1. Depending on where you live... |

My local paper usually takes a minimum of 2 days to get your letter printed, but it can take up to a week, especially now that Election Day is approaching and lots of the Freepers are sending out the dogs.
