GOTV in your car today, MOSH, COME ON!
I was up early to vote so I had an hour to kill before work.

My car is plastered with Kerry yard signs, stickers and white shoe polish voting messages on my car windows. I am playing Mosh loudly as I drive slowly, honking my horn, getting thumbs ups, nods, peace signs, honks and waves from our African American democratic base voters and the white Kerry supporters. It was an incredible we're all part of something big type of morale booster. And the song is so militantly empowering it is a rush to f*** with the freepers as they witness the solidarity of Kerry supporters. We are a diverse party and we got each other's backs.

You can download the mp3 here:

http://www.stimulate-ltd.com/audio/singles/eminem-mosh -...

I used CDex to convert the mp3 to a WAV and then burned CDS. I gave away 58 copies. I'm also wearing my black hoodie with VOTE in duct tape on the back.

All the people up top, on the side and the middle
Come together, let's all form this swamp just a little
Just let it gradually build, from the front to the back
All you can see is a sea of people, some white and some black
No matter what color, all that matters we're gathered together
To celebrate for the same cause, no matter the weather
If it rains, let it rain
Yeah, the wetter the better
They ain’t gon’ stop us - they can't
We're stronger now, more then ever
They tell us "No", we say "Yeah"
They tell us "Stop", we say "Go"
Rebel with a rebel yell
Raise hell - we gon’ let em know
Stomp, push, shove, mush..
Fuck Bush
Until they bring our troops home, c'mon, just..

Come along, follow me as I lead through the darkness
As I provide just enough spark that we need to proceed
Carry on, give me hope, give me strength
Come with me, and I wont steer you wrong
Put your faith in your trust, as I guide us through the fog
To the light at the end of the tunnel we gon’ fight
We gon’ charge, we gon’ stomp
We gon' march through the swamp
We gon' mosh through the marsh
Take us right through the doors
Come on..

Imagine it pourin’, it's rainin’ down on us
Moshpits outside the oval office
Someone’s tryin to tell us something
Maybe this is God just sayin' we're responsible
For this monster - this coward that we have empowered
This is Bin Laden
Look at his head noddin’
How could we allow something like this without pumpin' our fists
Now, this is our final hour
Let me be the voice, and your strength and your choice
Let me simplify the rhyme just to amplify the noise
Try to amplify it, times it, and multiply it by sixteen million
People are equal at this high pitch
Maybe we can reach al CIAda through my speech
Let the president answer our high anarchy
Strap him with a AK-47, let him go fight his own war
Let him impress daddy that way
No more blood for oil, we got our own battles to fight on our own soil
No more psychological warfare to trick us to thinking that we ain’t loyal
If we don’t serve our own country, we’re patronizing our hero
Look in his eyes, its all lies
The stars and stripes, have been swiped
Washed out and wiped and replaced with his own face
Mosh now or die
If I get sniped tonight, you’ll know why
‘Cuz I told you to fight

1. Not everyone likes Rap
We're trying to attract moderates, undecideds and first-time voters. Some people (me included) visceraly hate rap. Many people may not be able to get past the musical style to get to the message. Non-Eminem fans and those who aren't as politically active as most people here may not be familiar with the lyrics or message of that song. Blaring ANY music from a car annoys the hell out of many people.

In short, please knock it off! You're probably annoying many more people than you are inspiring, and with K/E signs all over your car those people will associate K/E with that annoyance.

PS-Plus blaring music from vehicles is illegal in some places.

I say go for it kid!!!! Great job!!!!!!!!

People need to get shaken up and DO something to get the current Lunatic in Thief OUT!!!

If this kid can mobilize the youth vote, thank GOD!!!

Who are you to put her down for her methods???!!!

How dare you try to put a damper on the new found enthusiasm of the young voter??!!! It won't stop ANYONE from voting that is going to and will encourage MANY that her great spirit touches.

Shame on you for your prejudice against the young, that sounds quite repugnant to me!!!

Shame on you for putting this kid's efforts down when so much is at stake and for one of the first times in history there are a huge number of young voter's that listen to rap actually taking the time to care and vote today.

3. First of all I am doing this in areas where people do love rap

Just because you don't get it does not mean the vast market for this type of music doesn't. I am getting nods, honks, thumbs ups and waves from our newly registered young African Americans AND the older African Americans who tell me whatever it takes to get these street corner players to the polls. Since I have been involved in inner city GOTV since August, I guess you could say I do know what I am talking about.

These are the neighborhoods where the thump of bass is the norm. These are the street corners where young males in long white tshirts ply the corners selling crack to the white crack heads from the suburbs who pull up to buy.
