Someone starts new political party
A POPULAR PARTY IS BORN

Having nothing better to do today, I decided to start a new political party. I call it the Consumers Party, and whether or not it actually happens depends on you.

Many people who are concerned with voting issues have framed them in consumer terms, such as, if cash registers and ATMs can give me a receipt, why can’t voting machines? Or, if we give you our money and our votes, why can’t you at least have a complaint department?

Apart from a very few who are totally self-sufficient, growing their own food and generating their own power, we are all consumers. And now, more than ever, it’s the economy.
