51 CAPITAL "You Stole My Vote" MARCH - December 12th

Our votes were violated in the November election.

Its time for all citizens to stand up and demand our votes are counted fully, fairly, and accurately.

On December 12th, two groups will descend on every State Capital:


* Citizens demanding the integrity of our voting systems be restored and protected, and
* State electors arriving in advance of meeting the next day to vote for President and Vice President


Send a clear message to your electors: Do NOT ratify the election with your vote until state election officials provide a complete, verified, accurate vote count!

Join us in a people's uprising, a citizen protest. Converge on your State or Federal Capital at noon local time on December 12th.

Foolish to wait till the very day before the ELECTORAL COLLEGE.

if you want new elections, it is foolish to delay till the very last moment to rally. Once the EC votes, and it will in spite of the 12/12 rally, .... then the media will be wall to wall "IT IS ALL OVER, FOLKS, GO BACK TO WORK."

That will take a lot of enthusiasm out of those wanting new elections. They will despair.

So the sooner, the better, to rally.

If you haven't noticed, the media is already wall-to-wall: ITS OVER - BUSH WON.

Show me a way to get a nationwide protest to happen so quickly. I couldn't figure that out. Neither could March on Ohio - They wanted a nationwide protest to coincide with the 12/4 rally in Columbus but they couldn't figure it out or pull it off either.

If I had it my way, we would ALL be in the streets now, like Ukraine. But this is America! We need our protests scheduled like football games!

who is doing nothing to wean us off of oil, the addiction that lead to our policies that made the Arab world hate us and is destroying our environment

who driving us into debt to pay for a war for his business partners and tax cuts for his wealthy friends

who is trampling our civil rights in the name of fighting terror while ignoring real sources of threats

who is destroying our education system through chronic and severe underfunding

who will allow the religious prejudices of a few to dictate laws and deny science

who refuses to defend workers and sides with big business in every dispute

who allows our news media to consolidate into fewer and fewer hands, punishes those who ask hard questions, and rewards those who lie on his behalf

who allows blacks to be systemically purged from voter rolls, intimidated and harassed when they try to vote, reduces the voting machines at their precincts then gives them a provisional ballot they don't plan to count, in effect coming within inches of Jim Crow era abuses

who in the name of voting reform gives contracts to far right companies to count our votes and provide proven rig-able voting machines to deny us the right to choose our own leaders and be represented by our government

You need to make a sign, get in your car next Sunday, and go to your state capital.

Why hold the protest on December 12th? Won't that be too late?

December 12th is the day before all state electors meet to cast their ballots for President and Vice President. By law (see Electoral College), the Electoral College must meet 41 days after the election . The protest is intended to send a message to our fellow citizen electors. That message is: refuse to vote until the state provides a verified and supervised hand recount of the vote.

Half of the people getting this e mail live within an hour or two of your state capital. If you are here in LA, it's five or six. But isn't democracy worth one day of your time?

For the last couple of years, the media has been good about ignoring protests in Washington, but if people turn out in massive numbers in every state capital, we cannot be ignored.

This getting national attention on Air America Radio and should be on Pacifica as well as circulating around the net.

Start planning now. Take a full car. Be there.

LTTE letter to the editor, also good way to spend the time on that day.
