Fliers on Election 2004 & Social Security

I worked up two fliers today for our local peace group.

One is on Social Security and the other is on Election 2004.

Please feel free to print out and distribute. If you would like to send me a website/contact info (in one line, please) for your group, I'll personalize it for you as well and substitute your text for the www.sufpw.org on the flier.

we try ... and it ain't always easy to keep a peace group going in Laramie, Wyoming. I'm now off for our weekly STAND UP where we spend half an hour every Friday at the major downtown intersection in Laramie with our HONK FOR PEACE signs. We're probably at about our 2nd year anniversary for doing this every week. (Unfortunately, I doubt any of us know the date of the first one.) We get a lot of positive response, we know a lot of people go out of their way to pass that intersection on Fridays so they can honk for us, and, the one week we missed -- so we could read the names of the dead US soldiers in front of the post office on the first anniversary of the war -- we were told by several people that they missed us. It gladdens our hearts -- which is sometimes needed, like the week it was about 12 below while we stood! I've never been so cold.

6. Correction to Flyer on Social Securty

The wage base is $90,000 now - it usually goes up every January 1st :)

The flyer is excellent - don't give the opposition ammunition by having an incorrect fact in it !!
