There is a new idea in direct-action campaigns being born right now on the Internets. :)

The concept is this: members define and refine an issue. Mechanisms to accomplish it are enumerated. Then, like a flash mob we all take action ("hammer") until the goal is reached. The site itself will have tools to help members participate in the campaign. The site will track the progress (how many phone calls to senators? how many letters to the newspapers) and present banner adds on partners websites to drive participation.

We are looking for volunteers of the following flavors:

writers
programmers
website designers
security gurus
QA people
experienced activists
researchers

I added this to Demopedia under "BlueHammer" but did not add it to the "Activists:Organizing Resources" category since you're not up and running yet. So this is just FYI.

I can't wait to see your content. I also can contribute a guideline for writing LTTEs. I have a 100% publish rate of LTTEs, with letters in three papers. (2 in the Springfield (MA) Union News, 1 in the Boston Globe, and one in the Denver Post) I have a prototype of what I'd give you posted in this archived DU thread, if interested in seeing what I have to say on the topic.
