Urge senators to oppose "Fairness in Asbestos Injury Resolution Act"
I urge you to fight the so-called “Fairness in Asbestos Injury Resolution Act." If this bill becomes law, it will not adequately compensate the innocent victims of asbestos poisoning.

For decades, asbestos companies knew their product was deadly, but they kept it a secret, killing workers and their families, as well as the consumers of their products. Adding insult to injury, these asbestos companies have effectively stalled litigation for years hoping and waiting for Republicans to take control and rule in their favor.

If this bill becomes law, it would delay compensation for many innocent victims of asbestos poisoning and provide NO compensation for other seriously ill victims.

In addition, the one-size-fits-all provisions of the bill are unfair to many victims, effectively preventing them from receiving life-saving medical care for their serious illnesses.

People for whom settlements have been promised or who are awaiting their court dates would be forced to start over again in the trust fund --- AFTER waiting as long as two years while the fund gets started.

Oppose the so-called “fair” act and protect the rights of the innocent victims of asbestos poisoning. Please write senators now!
