4. I never realized how often the enlistee is pledging to God - I guess |
|
all those 'inferior' religions need not sign up?
Great Idea, and maybe more effective than a Sharpie permanent pen to write the word ENLIST on all those Support The Troops magnets.

Just e-mailed my baby and asked if he would spend a date night doing this with me. Let's make this fun, folks!
(Edit: Texas sure has a lot of those stickers too!)

Dear American Patriot:
I see from the sticker on your SUV that you are a supporter of our President and the policies he stands for. As you know, our armed forces have been suffering from recruiting shortfalls over the last year.
You can do more than just “Support Our Troops,” you can become one.
In Marshalltown, the local Army, Navy, and Marine recruiting station is located at *address withheld*.
If you feel you are too old to serve, perhaps you can escort your children or grandchildren to the recruiting office.
Your country needs your service.
God Bless America
