TAKE ACTION: Help Find the Missing Democrats by David Sirota

Be sure to sign-up for David Sirota's E-mail list at:

http://www.davidsirota.com/

The Campaign for America's Future (CAF) today launched a
letter-writing campaign, asking progressives to e-mail the chiefs of
staffs of the Democratic Senators and Congressmen who have been
consistently selling out America's middle class with their votes, and
thus undermining the Democratic Party. Most of these Democrats are
safe-seat Democrats on the list of Democrats that I previously noted
were among the most egregiously disloyal in Congress. They and other
nominal Democrats need to be shown that there are grassroots
consequences when they undermine their party and the American people.

Go to CAF's special site at:

http://action.ourfuture.org/action/index.asp?step=2&item=27418

Let these Democrats know that they won't ever get to the majority if
they keep undermining their party and selling out ordinary Americans.

2. Haha! Excellent action. Here's my note. I revised it.
Your leader has abandoned the American public in favor of corporate interests.

When we look at Open Secrets and track campaign contributions and match them with Senate and House votes, it's easy to see that both Republicans and many Democrats do not vote in the best interests of the people that elected them to office.

That will change.

Americans all over the country are watching and we will never support any candidate -- Republican OR Democrat -- that sells out to corporate bigwigs.

3. The Electoral Illusion
The Dem Party votes to fund the war. They even killed the progressive income tax 30 years ago. Nothing left there but a shell.

No Party can effectively represent the people in a system controlled by unaccountable corporate power, but a people's lobby outside the electoral system could influence whatever group of white-collar thugs happen to be running the govt.
