1. Let's hope he's not superstitious.....

or astrologically minded......9/23 is the autumn equinox and some of the freakier astrology web sites*** are pushing for armageddon/cosmic payback/slaying of the prince of darkness etc according to planetarily defined paramaters that come into play when the sun enters Libra - sign of justice - and night and day become equal.

***trying to find a thread, last one I checked out was busted this morning for promoting millenial hatred or some such thing...

that he's rolling out for this year?

Who's next on his axis of evil list?

Or is he going to tell the member of the UN that they need to give him billions of dollars and send their sons to die for the United States of Halliburton.

Wish I could be there. September is a lovely month for a protest in NYC.

3. Could be nice

He's going to ask the UN for troops and money in Iraq, but he wants to keep control of everything. The UN doesn't want to give him anything unless he gives up some control. Could be quite an impasse.

Protest Bush from 9 a.m. till noon at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, entering from Second Avenue and 47th Street. (Original plan was 43rd St. and First Avenue, but that seems to have changed.)
