Huntsville, AL -- chance to support young Dems |
|
From today's Huntsville Times, page B5, next to David Person's column:
Students in south Huntsville plan to debate the reasons for the war in Iraq, and they invite anyone who cares to listen.
On Monday night, four members of the Teenage Republican club will debate four Democratic teens at Grissom High School. The debate starts at 7PM in the Audio/Visual room and is open to the public.
Planned topics include: Should the US have gone into Iraq? Does it matter if Iraq has WMD?
Wouldn't it be awesome if a bunch of DUers showed up to cheer these kids on? I know I'm not the only one in Huntsville -- I saw you, whoever you were, with your "Anybody but Bush" bumper sticker in the parking lot of the Drake Avenue Kroger's. How about it? Anybody want to plan a meetup?

|
A bunch of states do, I think. I would love to see this! I bet the Dem kids are smarter!
