Hey Mo! Lets rock the marriage vote this weekend! |

As of now, the poll at www.marriagepoll.com is at 59.22% in favor of gay marriage. While those opposed have 32.8% of the vote, and 7.98% for civil union. This has alarmed the AFA obviously, since they sent the results out to there members and encouraged them to pass the word along to get more votes. So I decided to do something similar. I'm about to start a new drive for votes. I'd like to achieve a solid 60% this weekend. Anybody feel up to some volunteer work? I have really worked my butt off along with many others to get the poll in our favor. When we started we were really trailing behind, but with some hard campaigning we've changed that. As part of my efforts, I went into every single populated chat room on gay.com and pasted a message stating who I was, what I was trying to do, and the address to vote in the poll. It really works well. I watched the number of votes increase by several hundred in just a short while, each of the times I did it. People are in and out of those rooms all the time, so I think its a good way to get the word out to a lot of different people. But I'm just one person and I can only paste the message so fast. I could really use some help. If there is anyone out there with nothing to do tonight, how about helping me spread the word? Go to any message board or chat room that you have access to and paste the link along with some encouragement to vote. I usually include in my message that it must be a valid email address and you can only vote once. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!!!

Since my first post yesterday there have been 4,600 more votes in favor of gay marriage. The opposed votes increased by 1,906 votes in the same time period. And around 500 more votes for civil union.
