Send Them the Bills

To push universal health care: Each time you get any kind of bill for health care, send a copy to the White House, your congress-person and your senators. You could mark "pay this" on them. It would show what happens in any civilized country. Or you could say, take it out of the money you sent the pharmaceutical companies, HMOs, etc.

Hi I am an activist for health care reform, my mother and father lost their life savings because of Medical bills. I was doing painting, roofing and home repair with my father 5 months before he died of prostate cancer, just so we could pay the bills. My mother was in and out of the hospital for 4 yrs. before she died.My family was lied to and raped by this greedy, corrupt health care system of ours.Stand up and fight back now or lie down and suffer later< Take care The Democratic Kid>>> PS please send all the health care activists my way thanks.

That's awesome! It would help the USPS, flood Congress, and make a point all at the same time!

You know what else I have been doing for years? You know how we all get garbage mail saying to sign up for "God-only-knows-what" credit card? Well, years ago, I printed small cards basically saying (worded with better sophistication, "Bite me!"

Think about it, everytime you get on of those offers, they always also send a SASE for you to return. I tear up their offer, add my card, stuff it all in the SASE and throw it back into the mailbox. :smoke: Damn companies must hate me by now!
