1. As I suspect
Just as I suspect, Du'rs would rather chat than act. The line is being drawn and you are are not interested. We can make a statement in Des Moines but as John Lennon said, " some of you sit there with your cock in your hand, don't get you nowhere, don't make you a man, keep you occupied with pie in the sky, there ain't no guru that can see through your eye"

2. Hi, Badger.
As of now, I am making plans to be there. I'll be driving in from St. Paul, so the weather will be a factor. I am also surprised how little attention this is receiving from DU.

I'm going to repost in Activism.

3. Yes, very important
I did call the Federal Attorney's office in DM this morning.

The receptionist sounded frazzled but polite, like she had been fielding many phone calls about this issue already. She put me to a voice mailbox, and I left him an earful.

I had really wanted to drive up to DM , but have an important event tomorrow night which I must attend.

(Ellen and Neil Mariani on their 25th Anniversary)
On Sunday, Feb. 22nd, a historic event will take place in Kansas City. 9-11 widow, Ellen Mariani, whose husband Neil was killed in the WTC attacks of 9-11-2001, will be in Kansas City throughout the day to share her dramatic story with the Midwest.
