1. I think a vote for an actual party might be more productive. :)
I'm likely to be casting my NH vote for the Greens, so
long as they don't run either Nader or LaDuke. If they
run either of those two, I'll go another step leftwards
(to ???)

5. Kerry leads Bush 53-38 percent in New Hampshire
Here's the link-http://www.thechamplainchannel.com/wnne/2858932/detail.html

A new poll shows President George W. Bush's approval ratings in New Hampshire have fallen to their lowest levels since his election.

In a University of New Hampshire Granite State Poll conducted this week, 47 percent of New Hampshire adults said they approve of the job Bush is doing as president, 48 percent disapprove and 5 percent are neutral. That's down from a high of 71 percent in April and down 9 percentage points since October.

Looking ahead to the November election, 38 percent of likely voters said they would vote for Bush, and 53 percent said they would vote for Democrat John Kerry. In a matchup with Democrat John Edwards, 51 percent said they would vote for Edwards and 37 percent said they would vote for Bush.

New Hampshire is DEFINITELY in play for 2004.

3. the Democrats can carry New Hampshire . . .
it has a conservative history, but the southern part of the state has seen a huge influx of new people, many far less conservative than the natives . . . I wouldn't write New Hampshire off, especially if next door neighbor John Kerry is the nominee . . .

4. Uhh your logic is the reason we'll go Rep
"I wouldn't write New Hampshire off, especially if next door neighbor John Kerry is the nominee . . . "

we've had to listen to him much more than others for the last thirty years and quite frankly I don't know anyone that can stand the thought of four years of John Kerry press conferences.

I can honestly say I was shocked to hear my neighbors say they voted for Kerry in the primary. In the 5 years I've lived here, I have never heard anything but negative comments. All that time I thought I had them convinced to go Dean....<sigh>.

Oh well, I also have a neighbor who refuses to remove the "Gephardt" sign from her lawn.

7. Kerry can definitely win New Hampshire
It is one of his top "red state" pickup opportunities. He is currently leading in the state, but that will likely close up. Every vote will make a difference.
