I'm starting a campaign against Bush |
|
i have already gotten several people from across the country... but I need many more! All this campaign involves is the organization of a group of people from around the country, via email, phone, message board, and word of mouth, to go out and get people to register to vote and/or give them a sheet detailing several reasons to vote against Bush, arranged by issue (the environment for example). I have been compiling a list (which anyone can add to), and organizing people. I will be starting a small website, or will use one of my friends' sites, in order to organize, provide info on registration instructions, and to download the "Bush-list." Once I have enough people (my goal is at least 500), we will, between now and November, simply go around and spread the word, pass the sheet out and get people to vote and/or see why another Bush term is not in their best interest. But I need your help. Please reply to this if you are interested, or email me at nicedream815@yahoo.com And spread the word.. tell whoever you think might be interested to email me so I can add them to the list. THEN we can start making a difference. Thanks!

1. hi, I am registering people (CA) and I believe it's illegal to tell people |
|
"how to vote" when you are distributing registration forms.... might be something to verify before you get too far...

Activism is only limited by ones own imagination, Don't wait for others, Just go out and do. If something works they will come. Please read The Conscience Of A Liberal by Senator Paul Wellstone (2001) and Tour Of Duty by Douglas Brinkley (The John Kerry Story) These books will give you the knowledge and tools you must have. To be a successful activist you must arm your self with the truth then tell others. One of the things I'm doing is I'm putting voter reg. forms in pizza restaurants in working class neighborhoods. This will hopefully get us more Democrats and it allows me to talk to people about why they should vote Dem. Just go in talk to the owner and ask if you could leave a stak on the counter, go back every 2 weeks and refill the supply. Take Care, The Democratic KID...
