Yes, I went to the Democratic precinct caucus last night. I'm in a heavily Republican county and we were lucky to have two people from my precinct show up. We have 288 people who once had been registered as Democrats. I hadn't been to a caucus since 1976 when I was named a delegate for Jimmy Carter and Dolf Briscoe in Texas. I'm now a delegate for John Kerry and Ken Salazar (Senate race in Colorado). I told our State House candidate that the only way she could win was if she presents herself as a moderate and there is a big backlash against the Repugs for the economy and this Iraq fiasco. Please pray that this will happen.

I commend you for taking action. I'll be a state delegate at our Texas state convention for the first time this year too. All of us good people need to get more involved in taking back our country at every level. Good luck to you in Colorado. I'm holding hope that Salazar will win. He's a great guy. I'm working here locally too at the state house level to take out two repukes who are vulnerable in Nov. I'll pray for all of us. We can do this. Keep the faith.
