What is this March about and why are DFA grassroots volunteers creating a delegation?

For over a year, progressive organizations like NARAL, NOW, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Feminist Majority, etc. have been planning a March to halt the assault on reproductive freedom and health. The fruits of these plans are quickly approaching—the March for Women’s Lives will take place on the Mall, in Washington DC on April 25. The time to act is now! We will send a message that Americans value reproductive rights by building a delegation of 2,000 or more grassroots volunteers to march under a DFA Banner. We challenge you to attend and to motivate 10 other people to march with all of us in the DFA March Delegation.
