1. Looks like Dean peaked, and Clark has yet to peak...
I like this trend.

3. I agree
It's time to get away from these pissed off politicians. Clark isn't slamming anyone. Clark isn't name calling and making personal attacks. The "front runner" is busy attacking and hiding his records. It's time for a change.

5. A real bad showing for Lieberman in NH might kill him off.

I think it's possible. He would have gone head to head with Clark and gotten crushed.

6. Kerry's numbers will be formidable
after Iowa. Seems the more exposure he gets benefits. People really did not know him.

8. I'm glad Kerry is doing well
But I don't see how this can be accurate: "People really did not know him." He and Gephardt have been the best known candidates in the race. I think Kerry's campaign suffered from Dean's attacks and also from its own lack of focus. But once Kerry takes something on with full heart, it's a new ballgame. Kerry is a formidable opponent now in Iowa and will be in New Hampshire.

13. The man behind the resume
Kerry needed to add dimension to the public persona and reputation.
That's what we're seeing in Iowa- how does such a person translate into flesh and blood? The anecdotes from the trail by converts are really encouraging.

7. Interesting spin
which only slightly stinks of desperation.

Dean is ahead of Clark ( and correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't Clark actually polling ahead of Dean nationawide recently?)so that means Dean, despite his ongoing attacks, is now ahead, but has "peaked" while Clark, who has escaped widespread scrutiny and is behind Dean, is "rising"?

9. Clark comes closest to Bush
Also from the Rassmussen Reports current report:

"Ten days ago, Dean was more competitive with the President than any other Democrat. Now, however, while Dean trails Bush by 12-points, all of his rivals are with 10-14 points of the President. General Wesley Clark is the closest, trailing Bush 48% to 38%."

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/Presidential_Tracking_Poll.htm

All within the margin of error for the poll of course, but the trend is positive for Clark.

12. I'm really glad Kerry is beginning to get a second look
His long and distinguished career should entitle him to seious consideration in spite of the IWR vote.
