I play over there on occasion. They usually get political news posted before we do and I LOVE to see their reactions to "bad" news. (And I even enjoy the feeding frenzy over what they think is good news).

They have a thread going where the owner of the site tells the story of how he replaced the image on the site so DK's website would include it.

are just so fucking dumb it's almost funny if it weren't so frightening. I can't believe they'd actually boast about doing something like that. I'll be you dollars to doughnuts that someone at freak land was responsible for the DU DOS attack earlier this week. I think all we have to do is just to sit back and wait for that someone to boast about it.

The DU attack (took me a minute to figure out the DOS reference - thought it was, you know... "DOS") was obviously malicious (and illegal I suspect).

THIS really isn't the same league. If you strip graphics off my site and I'm on the opposite end of the political spectrum there's no reason I need to let you use it. It isn't like (s)he changed DK's website, just his/her own. The fact DK was "stealing" the graphic is his own problem.

controlled by the campaign. Kucinich didn't "steal" anything, a private citizen set that site up, and unfortunately whatever contact info there might have been has since been removed. I'll see if I can find out who the site owner is, if it'll prevent further attempts to denigrate my candidate.
