Why is Kucinich's better than the others?
I want a real debate on the issue. I've been in GDP2K and all I get is answers with the candidate's names; no explanations.
Let's steal the thunder form the madding crowd and let those of us who really want answers find them here in P&C.
Besides, this is my last hope.

He has a solid plan. Take away ALL US interest, bring in the UN, bring the troops home! His plan is concrete and makes a hell of alot of sense.
I think it is great that he wants the UN to handle the Iraqi oil until the Iraqi's are self governing.

5. I am undecided as well, but I live in Illinois and we don't get |
|
our primary until the end of March so it doesn't do me any good to get my mind set on a candidate because historically, the candidate is all but chosen by the time they roll into my grand old state.

Because he not only acknowledges that the occupation of Iraq is illegal and must end, but he is also the ONLY candidate who says publicly that the U.S. should disengage completely and pay war reparations to Iraq in order to fund an international reconstruction effort.
It's the right thing to do, but none of the other candidates have the moral authority to face up to it.

7. Kucinich is an extremist. |

Like it or not, we started this mess and now we have to finish it, preferably with U.N. support. Immediate withdrawal is not an option, unless you'd rather have a fundamentalist council of Muslim clerics take control, and they'd be much worse than Saddam. Edwards has the best approach.

9. We are in this mess, we need to help the Iraqi |
|
people out of it.
I would love to see us just pull out, but that would lead to more problems--certainly more hostility to the US, and rightfully so, I might add.
We need to engage the UN ASAP, and let them lead the transition and reconstruction.

8. Kucinich definitely. I want American kids to go to college and have |
|
health care and that won't happen if we keep paying for this occupation.

10. I want the same things, and I admire DK for his "telling it like it is" |
|
approach, but we risk even more hostility toward the US if we just pull out of Iraq, even if the UN does allow us to. We need to stay there, as painful as it is, but let the UN take control.
Won't happen with the BFEE in charge, though.
