Kerry and Clark should form alliance
They should make a gentleman's agreement that if one is nominated, he will ask the other to become the running mate. I still think Clark has the best chance of beating Bush in a presidential contest, but he would also make a fine vice president.

I like Edwards but he is sort of a Clinton style democrat. 2004 is not the time for a Clinton style democrat. We need someone with a strong military background. Kerry and Clark are perfect. Can you imagine Clark debating Chaney on foreign policy and defence? Can you imagine Kerry debating Bush on the "just war theory?"

I think Clark's wife Gert could out-wit Bush in a debate of economics and foreign policy. She will make a wonderful first lady.

1. I don't know how realistic that is.
Hopefully, if they do, it stays a very quiet agreement!

Kerry seems to have the Washington elite of the Ted Kennedy stripe and Clark seems to have the Washingtont elite of the Clinton stripe.

However, Clark has some very progressive backers as well and so, I say again, if they do, I hope it stays a very quiet agreement!

2. It's just that we have a terrible track record for picking running mates
What was Gore thinking when he chose Lieberman? And what about Geraldine Ferraro? Remember that choice?

3. Thats not ever going to happen...
Kerry showed his true colors yesterday, for being the person that he really is. If I was Clark I would tell him you forgot your what it is to be an Officer & a gentleman. Take your tripe back to Congress where it belongs.

5. They have more in common than you think
and that's why they are my top two candidates.

BTW why isnt it negative when Clark takes a swipe at Kerry,
but it is negative when Kerry responds?

(and I think the whole rank thing is silly pump up by the media}
