Any info on the Chandler race in KY? |
|
I gave some $$ last week. This would be a nice morale booster for the Dems.

I'm not sure how close you are to the election, so what I'm saying could be redundant, lol, but the only info I know is that the election is on Tuesday and all of the polls are indicating a comfortable lead (about 10%) for Chandler. Hopefully he can hold on to that seat for a years to come when he wins on Tuesday.

2. Chandler is in good condition |
|
Polls indicate that voters have a favorable view of him and he's doing well in uniting Democrats and drawing in some Republican support. He leads consistently by 5-8% in the polls. The district has a strong Democratic edge in registration, but then again most Southern states do that still vote Republican anyways. Chandler is doing well none-the-less and looks like he'll be able to pull off a win. A win in the conservative district could spell bad news for the GOP. Hopefully, if we wiin here, we can impound this victory with another special election win in South Dakota. There, Stephanie Herseth is looking very good.

...however Ky along with Georgia as well as one other state is totally BBV......I am very concerned about this especially w/ the disfunctional family of Mitch and Elaine as the GOP power brokers alive and well here.....if this election should shift to the GOP on election day, serious attention should be placed upon the integrity of the process here since the polls have Chandler with a comfortable lead.....

Chandler's campaign. Although I do not live in his district, I have been very involved with both his campaign for governor and now for the congress. I certainly hope the GOTV is good in that district. We sure need some representation in Washington. We presently have 2 rethug senators and all the congressional delegation with the exception of one that is questionable at times. Hope the polls are right on this one.
