Kerry Faces Protesters, Bush is Shielded, Why the Difference?
I noticed that Kerry had to face some vocal protesters at a recent event including clapping flip-flops to try and label Kerry politically. From the video I saw there looked to be 8-12 people, right near the front of the stage.

My question is this:

The Bush campaign (or the Secret Service) would never, ever allow protesters within hundreds of yards of Bush.

So why should Kerry have to face protesters, with props, within 10 yards of the front of the stage he is speaking from?

Would the Secret Service use the rational of personal security for Bush?

Then why not the same standard for Kerry?

2. Bush should be faced with protesters
This WH has been entirely dishonorable in the allowance of Freedom of Speech. Yet another symptom of the neocon 'Empire', IMHO.

6. Welcome, Sense and Sensibility. Do you love Jane Austen?
I am an avid fan. There is no telling how often I have read everyone of her books.

7. Yes!
She is my favorite author. I also like Barbara Pym, who is kind of a modern day Jane Austen. She wrote mostly in the 50's and 60's. My message at the bottom of my pots comes from her novel Glass of Blessings. I'm a feminist, but I really love literature from a womans' point of view. Thanks for the welcome!
