Confirmed by Matt Lewis of Townhall: Hillary Clinton would be much |

easier for McCain to beat than Obama. Just now on MSNBC. No surprise.

1. Ron Brownstein suggests that the GOP will be able to keep |
|
the election focused on Terrorism, War, Foreign Policy if Obama is the candidate. It will be difficult for Obama to pivot and change subject when up against McCain. Even Pundits who like Obama know he is weak on Foreign Policy.
Hilary because of her foreign policy strenths can neutralize the Terrorism, war arguments and force McCain to have to discuss Health Care and domestic policy.
This was the discussion on last Sunday's MTP. NBC.

2. How could Clinton neutralize the discussion when she voted for it? |
|
Obama's and McCain's opinion of why the occupation has been fought and what to do next are distinctly different. There's proof a majority of this country doesn't want what McCain wants. I think Obama will do just fine highlighting the differences. So do the rethugs, which is why they'd rather Clinton get the nod.

3. what foreign policy strengths? 70 percent of the country thinks that the biggest fp mistake was Iraq |
|
and Hillary played a large role in the decision through her war vote. I think Obama will have the majority of the country on his side.

4. Yes, exactly - and what are McCain's foreign policy strengths? |
|
Two of the three supported the blunder in Iraq. One continues to support it.
