Obama buys 2-minute ads in Ohio, Texas for Monday

According to a source who tracks TV ad buying, Obama campaign has bought two-minute blocks in every market in both Ohio and Texas on Monday. It's unclear what the content will be, but sounds like it will be some sort of closing message. As we find out more, we'll report more.

A couple of the comments on the firstread msnbc webpage were signed with "Hussein" as their middle name.( Update, now comments from MN and CA adding "Hussein" to their middle name.)


I noticed the same thing last nite, while watching the Obama San Marcos rally on the Austin FOX channel. They had a chat room at the side of the live stream, and most of them were adding the middle name of "Hussein" to their posts. These were pro-Obama kids---from their comments.

I understand that Stephanie MIller is also "changing" her middle name to Hussein, per the earlier DU discussion below:

I think it should be up to each individual community member to chose whether they would like to adopt/retain the name or not.
I don't appreciate someone telling me what I should and shouldn't do. I didn't join this community to win popularity contests and I'm not here to 'look cute' or agree with everyone abt everything.

If I want to make a statement by adopting the middle name Hussein then I will.
I am the best judge of what my actions portray and if I wish to emphatically denounce the politics of fear, suspicion and hatred by adopting the name Hussein then I will, period.
