If Obama wins the national popular vote, that would very probably give him a lock on the Nomination!
Almost every pundit I heard on the Sunday a.m. political talk shows acknowledged that if Obama wins the national popular vote, he has a 99.99% lock on the nomination. We already know that he will win the pledged delegate count and if he maintains his lead in the national popular vote, there is no way the Super Delegates will give the finger to the pledged delegates and the American people.

Somehow, Obama and his campaign must communicate that votes in Mississippi or Pennsylvania may indeed help propel him to the nomination nationally. Even adding the bogus FLA primary totals to the national numbers still puts him 300K ahead. Looks like we will have a do-over in both FLA/MI and with Obama already having won the pledged delegates...all he needs to do is maintain his lead nationally and keep winning more states than Clinton; to date, he has won double the number that she has! Every single bread crumb that could lead to an Obama vote needs to be scrapped up with the remaining states.

p.s. If he somehow comes back and wins Pennsylvania - that right there could also be the end game.

4. I think so too. That's why clinton is desperate to have the FL and MI
popular vote counts as is. It would put her about even with Barack at this point. Too bad that it won't happen.

5. If Obama has significantly more pledged delegates than Clinton
and does not get the nomination there will be a massive shitstorm in the Democratic Party that will make '68 look like a love-in.

7. I'm sure. If the popular vote goes to Clinton, so will the supers.
Because that would mean more PEOPLE wanted Clinton than Obama.

And I can see how that upsets you.
