1. I think it was a nice move by him to go on the show. I happened to catch
the segment and it was good. He was respectful to everyone, even Hasselbeck.

5. I'm sure he was very good. I posted because this TV critic is controversial --
she doesn't seem to know her stuff, for example, resulting in a remarkable number of corrections the Times has to run. The piece just seemed a bit squidgy -- and I was thinking that if it was read on the campaign bus, Barack might be in for a little kidding.

2. Well, I Dont Think John McCain
will get this kind of review. Sherri Sheppard was all giddy with excitement - Whoopi not so much, but then she's a Hillary supporter.

3. Obama was great on "The View"
He came off very well and was referred to as being "sexy". And that he is - sexy!

:loveya: Sen. Obama & so do many others out there, many of them being women. :D

7. Re. sexy -- from the article:
"Barbara Walters told Mr. Obama he was 'sexy-looking.' Sherri Shepherd announced that she had shifted her support from Mrs. Clinton to Mr. Obama; she made Joy Behar temporarily switch seats with her during a break so she could chat up the candidate."

10. Ms. Shepherd couldn't get close enough to Obama!
I swear, I thought she was going to faint! She was so turned on to him it was obvious. }( It was worth watching for that if nothing else.

I loved Sen. Obama's reply when it was time for a break after discussing the Wright incident. He said, "We can talk about it more if you like when we come back".

4. That show is unwatchable for me.
The hosts rarely allow their guests or themselves to finish a sentence.

6. Perhaps Obama is a genuinely good guy
ya think it might be as simple as that?

8. You know, if this post is seen by anyone as in any way critical of Obama...
Edited on Sat Mar-29-08 10:50 AM by DeepModem Mom
which it appears to be seen by some, then I'm deleting it now. Jeez.

Any criticism was meant for the NYT controversial TV critic. I'm sorry.

9. Oh no not at all... keep the post.
My comment was aimed at the article's author who
seems to be grasping for some strategy or nefarious plot
behind Obama's niceness.

11. I'm sorry I flew off the handle.
I think I'll just keep it gone, however. My policy has been, especially since the candidate wars, to post articles without comment, and I should probably just stick with that. Again, I'm so sorry to have misunderstood your post.
