| I've made my campaign announcement to the public |

This afternoon, I gathered a group of protesters from Richfield Ohio and formally announced my candidacy (the press were there as well).
My speech was short, and to the point (it was raining), but it's now official....I'm in the race!
Online fundraiser begins at 5pm at www.jeffseemannforcongress.com
The page will be fully active by then, but you can get a peek now at a small portion of it.

No competition thus far in the primaries....but I did meet a man today who said he "had been thinking about running" on the same ticket as me. SpikeTrees was there...I think he seemed like just some guy. No real energy, and he didn't know much about the local politics scene.
I wouldn't be worried about this guy in the primaries (not with the energy I'm willing to put forward.....anybody who saw me today knows that), but he would end up making me spend money early.
I'll be having a meeting with the local Dem cghairman on Wednesday...I'll try to convince him to dissuade others from entering the primaries.

I appreciate that.
Yes, we're all on the same team...let's just call it a "quarterback controversy".
But let's just say that I would be thrilled work with President Kerry on issues in January 2005....or President Dean, or President Kucinich, etc.
