Did anyone see Dean's Sleepless Summer Tour on Road to the Whitehouse? |
|
I was in enemy territory (in-laws' house), and had to keep flipping the channels whenever someone walked in and probably only saw ~15 minutes of it on Sunday.
It looked poorly edited - long segments of letting people go on and on, but it's nice to see a TV show that isn't over-edited, I guess. Saw a few minutes of Dean with people on the airplane, seemed like he could work a room pretty well.
Any other impressions? Did anyone else see the show? There was about 3-4 of Kerry in the beginning, maybe the whole show wasn't devoted to Dean, but the opening segment did seem to be about the tour.

and it was a poor job by c-span but at least it was on. Main thing I noticed was the size of the crouds and how fired up they were. I was also inpressed with the Deam team. Everyone was upbeat and working very hard. Looked more like a movement then a campaign to me. I am biased though. lol:)

2. Poorly done by C-Span, but inspiring anyway. |

The usual C-Span channel was suddenly replaced by an infomercial network and C-Span was relocated far up the dial--By the time I discovered it, part of it was over. The bit about the overflow crowd was tedious but it was interesting to see behind the scenes. What impressed me the most was the genuine enthusiasm and the hope - It seemed everywhere he went, the appeal to Dean from the faces in the crowd was the same-a prayer of hope.
