Iowa peace group endorses Kucinich as candidate for peace
"Democratic presidential hopeful Dennis Kucinich has been endorsed by one of Iowa's leading peace groups.

The Ohio Representative says the endorsement today from the Des Moines-based Stop the Arms Race Political Action Committee singles him out as the true candidate for peace.

<snip>

"They say they selected Kucinich based on his opposition to the war in Iraq, his call for an investigation into the Bush administration's stance on weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and his pledge to cut military spending by 15 percent."

3. The only hope we have for ever putting our budget in order
and providing needed services to our people and the world is to reduce the defense budget...

So glad others see this!!I have this little book called "Addicted to War" and it shows how this is true...we really are addicted to war. TIME FOR A 180.

5. STAR PAC also endorced President Alan Cranston in 1984
and latest polls put Kucinich at 1-2% in Iowa. He's got a long road ahead of him.

8. Kucinich is not in this race alone.
While a lot of people seem to be under the impression that he is, they are mistaken.

1-2% of who in Iowa? People who are home to answer their phones? People who have the time to sit down and fill out a political poll form and mail it? People on the internet? Because there are a whole lot of people who support Kucinich that don't fit those categories.

What's going to happen in this race is that a lot of us invisible people are going to make ourselves seen and heard for a change. Those who keep trying to ignore us are about to get a huge shock. No offense to anyone, but that's the truth of it. The people I speak to about Kucinich who profess their support are not the people you'll normally find discussing politics, replying to polls or even home to answer their telephones most of the time. They are watching, though, and they are going to be heard from.

And I am glad to see REAL peace groups recognize the sincerity in Dennis' actions and positions.
