Frothing Spew by a would-be Kucinich Congressional opponent for Ohio-10
I plucked this ugly diatribe from a Goop website. It may be helpful to understand how our opposition thinks.

Dennis Has Turned His Back
On The Voters Here In His District
RATHER THAN RESPECT, SHOW DENNIS THE DOOR
by Bruce Cobbeldick ( R ) 440.668.0887

In response to the editorial about Dennis Kucinich deserving a real
shot at the White House, in the Opinion section of The Plain Dealer,
as the Republican Party's leading candidate for the 10th
Congressional District, my immediate reaction was to state that
Dennis not being a beltway sophisticate is hardly the motive in
lampooning him, and whether it's the cartoonist, the out of work
steelworker, the Veteran, the active-duty soldier, the businessman or
the taxpayer on the street, our Congressman is on the receiving end
of criticisms because he brought it on himself. Greater Cleveland's
voters had somehow managed to forgive D.K. for his political past,
but true to form, Dennis being the ultra-Liberal Left Wing Extremist
that he is has carved out a name for himself that has alienated more
of NE Ohio than actually endearing his constituents. And Dennis has
done so by being a fighter – merely a fighter. It's not good enough
to be a fighter. As a congressman, you need to win. But Dennis is
just a fighter. Yes, he grabs headlines and is a squeaky wheel, but
he doesn't bring home the bacon. Say what you want about Louis
Stokes, but he used to bring home the bacon. Like him or not, Stokes
got Cleveland the support, jobs and juice we needed to help his
District – maybe not always, but the victories were there. Dennis
Kucinich clearly hasn't done his job. And that's why he is being
lampooned by cartoonists and criticized by the average Joes on the
streets of Cleveland. Dennis Kucinich had one job that was very key
for this District: Save LTV Steel. But Dennis failed. Equally
important, he has used his Congressional Seat as a stepping stone
for "greener pastures." Furthermore, he has done enough flip-flops
for political expediency that Dennis has disappointed both Democrats
and Republicans alike. His recent social(istic) agendas regarding
Gay Marriages, Abortions (even late-stage abortions) being "OK" and
favoring the legalization of marijuana, Dennis Kucinich has no one
else to blame but himself why people have come up with nicknames for
him like Dennis The Menace or characterize him as being a joke to
voters here and throughout the country. I find it interesting that
even leaders of the Democratic Party say that they need a candidate
who is a Centrist, a codeword for Republican-like in ideologies.
Kucinich is anything but Moderate, let alone conservative. There
aren't a lot of people in NE Ohio eager to refer to Dennis Kucinich
as our "native son." When I was growing up, Cleveland was called The
Best Location In The Nation. When I was a young man in high school,
Dennis and the city falling into Default was bringing us down. Even
nowadays, a quarter century later, we are getting grief about Dennis.
The Mistake By The Lake is our latest label. Kucinich, like Tom
Coyne, is a career politician – not a statesman. For them, it's a
question of looking for a place to lite (land). They need a job.
And based on the way Kucinich has left his post, and gone way to the
Extreme Left, I dare say if voters dump Dennis, it will be due to his
failures, blunders and botched handling of key issues – things like
local jobs, our economy and upholding our belief systems, our values
and reputation as a community – on these points, Dennis has shot
himself in the foot. There is a difference between a statesman and a
politician. Make no mistake. Coyne and Kucinich have one thing on
their radar screen: themselves! The people of the 10th District
need results – not rhetoric. While I am certainly biased as the
leading Republican Candidate for the U.S. Congress Seat that Kucinich
has been occupying, I really hope and pray that the good people of
this District wake up and get involved in this race, because it's
more than being about jobs and our lackluster economy. As a Veteran
and member of the American Legion, I am very upset and dissatisfied
with where Dennis is headed. Mr. Kucinich has not been good for NE
Ohio. There is some real cause for concern with Democratic Candidates
like Kucinich and Coyne. They are career politicians, and with Coyne
being on the Cuyahoga Board of Elections and still attempting to run
for public office, and with Dennis using the Congressional Seat as a
stepping stone for bigger and better aspirations, it would be my hope
that neither Coyne nor Kucinich are taken seriously. There are many
Veterans in Cuyahoga County. Voters here support our military
personnel. There are God-fearing people in this District, who care
about morals and belief systems mapping to their values. Citizens
here want a Congressman they can be proud of and believe in.
Constituents in the 10th District don't want an ACLU Vision for
America – they want Americanism and traditional family values upheld.
We need to turn the ship around, and these Democrats with their high
taxes, big government and Liberal agendas have been rowing in the
wrong direction with holes in the oars for too long, and we need to
do more than keep the ship afloat. What Greater Cleveland needs is
to be great again. That is a goal whose time will come, but it will
take the steering of a statesman not the posturing of a politician.
It's time for the non-shouters and the non-demonstrators to show
Dennis the door.

Here is why I hate Cobbledick, he is an ignorant dumbass:

"The War – It is important that this nation make the needed sacrifices to ensure a proactive stance against evil and terrorism. We should not wait until we are victimized before we step into the ring and get into the fight. This is a real and legitimate battle that we are facing, and it has already been brought to our front doorsteps. The world has shown us time after time that it needs our help and loves our help, but we cannot put our fate in the hands of these nations that we have supported so many times politically and economically and with the blood of our military men and women in the past. With or without their support, I believe America does indeed have an obligation to protect our interests and our people. As such, I support President Bush in his proactive measures to defend our country."

4. *ROTFL*
I'm betting Dennis had his fair share of beatings, too, however it appears he came out of it all a helluva lot stronger than this buffoon.

And I'm going to tell you this, with the way Iraq is coming down, by 2004, there won't be a single rational and sane American willing to defend Bush for dragging us kicking and screaming into it.

2. "COBBLEDICK" LOL
I think his frequent ridicule of his name must have helped make him into this bitter and confused man.

If he wants anyone to actually be able to read any of this crap, he really needs to learn what a paragraph is. The format he has written it is does match well with the fact that it is a pathetic rant.

3. ROFLMAO!
This is too funny for words... Westshoremall Shopping Carts Plus?

We need to return ourselves to the kind of Americanism, values and common sense that makes this nation great. The Democrats would continue to raise taxes and increase government's involvement in our communities and commerce. Less government is better. The NAACP and all these Left Wingers would have us remove "In God We Trust" from our coins and have us stop prayer in our schools.

The wisdom of the Republican Party hinges on the approach to solving problems.

Republicans care deeply about social issues.

It is a question of passion, not pension.

But we care immensely about every citizen, their circumstances and their family's future!

5. What an unfortunate name
Sounds like what John Bobbitt had to "cobble together" after an unfortunate battery upon his person.
