How many other DUers my age can claim that they got a newspaper article written on them and folks it aint me J Kleeb that got an article on him. Its my age sake wheresthemind and a fellow Kucinich supporter. All I can say is WOW. Goes to show you that one person can make a difference. BTW Alex you should be goddamn proud of yourself. We got a long road ahead to getting Kucinich the nomination but we are on the right road knowing that our guy has just introduced universal pre K-12 education. This is so great and I know some of you all think its awesome I am political but my buddy here seems to be on the even more right track. Just simply wow. Give yourself a pat on the back dude. Keep on doing what you have been doing and we will be on the road to victory. Sorry for my err I dont know the word, I dont think partisan would do, sorry for acting like an egomatic but damnit I think this is fucking great. Excuse my language lol. Congrads again.

6. Never underestimate the power of young people!
Some of the most effective positive politics I have ever seen came from some thoughtful, enthusiastic junior-high-schoolers. Kids can do most things adults can do, and many of them better. In politics, young folks may not be able to actually run and pull the lever -- but there are so many things that can be more important as they can bring more than one person to pull the lever the right way. Web sites, knocking on doors, answering questions personally or by phone, demonstrating, researching and backgrounding -- and as often as not, the kids are more effective at these things than us over-the-hill headbangers are.

Keep the flag flying!

Hurrah!

Thats my favorite thing about myself, I can laugh my ass off about something silly as anything then reflect on say All Quiet on the Western Front. Sorry for bragging but I like that quality about myself.

10. I think he's a DUer
If I recall correctly, he was so excited about meeting Dennis that he posted this article about it. At least I would guess it's the same article because I didn't actually click on the link because I already read the article about Alex. But his screen name is Alex- something or other- and so if you see that name, say hello.

I am so helpful with this very clear and informative post, aren't I?

14. It's no dupe-- it's Alex!
Alex is the real deal.

I met him just this past Saturday, and I'm pleased to say he's one of the most thoughtful and mature 16-year-olds that I have ever met.

As a matter of fact, he is the person who set up the Minnesota for Kucinich web site (www.minnesotaforkucinich.com) and still does the lions' share of the updating.

I build websites and web applications for a living (for the last 5+ years), and I've been thoroughly impressed with Alex's work for someone with so little previous experience. However, he's also mature enough to know when to seek input from others. That's partially how I met him this weekend-- to share my experiences and knowledge on how to enhance the current site.

Most of the people in the MN Kucinich campaign are a lot like Alex-- young, idealistic, and oftentimes have never participated in grassroots politics. However, they know the current path this country is on is not the right path, and they believe (as I do) that Kucinich's campaign represents the best way to change things for the better.

But yeah, Alex is a very cool dude. And I believe he posts here on occassion, too. :)

About a half of year younger. Yes Alex does post here, we have talked a few times, quite a few of you Minnesonians for Kucinich, I wonder why :). I meant dupe as it may had been here before. Still people have said things about how neat it is what I do, well if you want the real deal, Alex is your guy not me.

17. You're shortchanging yourself
It doesn't matter what you do, it's whether or not you make a difference. And it's easy to make a difference-- even a small one B-)

The Kucinich campaign in MN (and IOWA!) reminds me a lot of the 1990 Wellstone campaign. Not much money, lots of enthusiasm, lots of idealism, and the belief that we don't need to play by "their rules" to win this thing. I still say there's going to be a lot of VERY suprised people after the Iowa caucuses.

28. So many lydia and I can see why too
You all know that longshots can win with Wellstone and you had a guy very simliar to Kucinich in Wellstone. Now I am not comparing the two but lets be honest Wellstone and Kucinich fight or fought for the little guy. You know I am a good friend of leftistrebel right, he tells me now hes for Kucinich, actually its been a while.

20. your welcome
You deserve it. I told everyone my humble answer, I am just a guy supporting Kucinich but who knows maybe someone noticed my buttons on my backpack and checked out the website. I got this from the main page, I dont think too many Virginians check out Minnesota's newspapers. It seems that your state has a lot of Kucinich supporters, they got you, lefty, and many others.

When I click on the link I get a story about some guy that owns a hardware store that is putting together a commemorative 9-11 concert.

It does say this under the section heading:
