So Far, Lieberman Generates Yawns In Presidential Bid

From The Day, Eastern CT newspaper.

Unless Joe Lieberman does well when eight states hold their primaries Feb. 3, Connecticut can expect him back on junior senator duty in time for Valentine's Day. I don't know how many victories are needed to do well but we'll know it if it happens.

With Labor Day having come and gone, we are now officially in the presidential campaign that started eight months ago and hasn't aroused much voter interest. Two thirds of the voters – and two thirds of the Democratic voters – still can't name any of the nine candidates, according to a CBS poll taken just before the holiday.

1. Very Interesting, Larkspur! Thank you!
"The only enthusiasm to this point has been generated by Howard Dean who has roared in from nowhere, nowhere being Vermont, to become the early favorite."
