Campaign for Mental Health Reform commendsJohn Kerry
"The Campaign for Mental Health Reform commends Presidential hopeful John Kerry today for releasing a statement on mental health policy.

A primary goal for whoever wins the 2004 presidential election should be to fix the nation's broken mental health "system." For too long, the needs of adults and children with mental illnesses have been ignored - it is time they became a national priority. "

1. You're distributing a link
from a paid press release? Boy, that one will carry some weight </sarcasm>

2. WTF are you saying
Kerry *didn't* release a statement on mental health policy?

Or maybe mental health issues aren't important to you. Or maybe...

3. I'm saying
I'm proud of Mr. Kerry for releasing a statement. Does every statement warrant a post?

By your labeling of me as a 'loser' I can see that perhaps mental health issues are of special concern to you...

4. Press releases are good for posts
as are statements. We all do it. When a candidate speaks during a campaign, why would you think that isn't worth noting? We need to know the policies.

5. Hey, you're right!

Mental health issues are important to me. I have a mental illness.

Here's how I see it: Kerry releases a policy statement, and you sneer at it -- not based on the policy, but based on... hmm... the fact that it exists and is not about Dean? I honestly don't understand why.

"Does every statement warrant a post?" Why the heck not?

EDIT, a few minutes later: I do concur that the "You're a Loser" graphic was an overreaction on my part. However, sources report that it was due to a lack of coffee at the time, and not mental illness. ;)
