PA Dem Party Chairman deny's Crystle to speak at Dem convention
A lot of us support Crystle on this site, in his campaign for the US Senate in Pennsylvania. But the failed leadership of the Dem Party in PA has decided to annoint Hoeffel to lose to Specter, and so they are denying the democratic process.

Crystle wrote about the fiasco here:

If you want to help out, send an email to the State Party Chairman, T.J. Rooney, and tell him to stop acting like he owns our party:

T.J. Rooney

1. Though I don't believe Crystle should be banned from speaking
I also believe that Joe Hoeffel has the best chance of beating Arlen Specter and I feel that he will win.

3. I'm neutral in this race so far
but I think that Crystle deserves a chance to speak at the convention.

4. If the establishment feels that they have to silence another Dem for their
favorite pick to win, that says to me that their favorite pick probably can't win.

This is a Democratic Primary and Mr. Crystle needs to be allowed the same accordances that come with being in that primary as the other contenders.

5. Rooney won't care
He was elected by the Democratic State Committee (although they basicly rubber stamped Rendell's choice). The best people to pressure are the DSC members from your county (who have to be electd every four years by primary voters). They would be the most effective is pressuring Rooney and Rendell.

If you don't know who represents your county on State Committee, just go to

http://www.padems.com/changes/counties.html

In addition, the chair of your County Committee also serves on the State Committee.
