Clark for VP.
Kerry for State.
Gebhardt for Labor.
Cleland for Defense.
Edwards for Interior.
Dodd for Treasury.
H. Clinton for HHS.
B. Clinton for DNC Chair.
(Lieberman for nothing.)
How's that?

4. I agree. We can't spare incumbent senators and reps |
|
Especially since several of them come from states where their replacement would be chosen by a GOP governor.
There are lots of good people to fill the cabinet who are former congresspersons, leading experts in their field in academia, non-profits, activist organizations, etc. Hell, there are even a couple of good ex-presidents!
