Dean holds clear lead among Democrats in California, poll finds

Former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean has become the clear front-runner among Democratic presidential contenders in California.

A Field Poll of registered Democratic voters released this morning says 23 percent would vote for Dean in the state's March presidential primary. That's up from 14 percent in July.

Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman followed with 15 percent, and Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry placed third with 11 percent.

Everyone should donate to their preferred candidate. Even ten or twenty dollars. Dean has raised more money at this point than any other dem candidate in small amounts -- I think the average donation to his campaign is around $100, which in political campaigns is nothing.

And I have already donated $1,000. I plan to give more before the end of the quarter. I work overtime, 2 shifts a month and donate it to the good Dr. Dean. I have friends who have initiated the same plan.
