Quick question
This may be totally from outerspace, and if it is, forgive me my ignorance. But is there any chance that Bush would dump Cheney for the next election? It seems to me that he sure abandoned Cheney quickly after his comments over the weekend. They could say that Cheney a campaign would be too much for Cheney physically, dump him, and get somebody else. Then subtly blame him for a lot of shit and try to come out smelling a little better than they do now. Am I just being neurotic?

1. Nor, you are not being neurotic.
That sounds like their plan. cheney must have oked it, because he has way too much power not to be his idea.

2. Its coming...
He'll be replaced by a woman or minority-bank it. This is the only game Bush knows and he plays to win.

3. It's not a plan yet, they are just sending up
a trial balloon to see how rightwing supporters will react. It's all rumor right now just to check the reactions. If it sails, then they will do it, sure. Powell would be the first choice: but, Chimp and Colin don't get along well, and secondly, I'm not sure Powell would accept. On the other hand, he's gone along with the nuts so far, so maybe he has lost his way completely.

4. Yep, I think Cheney's Gone.
Of course, they'll say it's because of his health.. whatever.

I think they'll try to get Powell to run cuz they figure that'll get AWOL the black vote. Again... whatever.

Powell/Rice are tainted because they helped construct Iraqmire. The repukes aren't going to be able to dig themselves out of the hole they're in.. but the deibold voting machines may say different. :P

5. They could dump him if he died
Presumably by 'natural causes'. (What with those 50 gunshot wounds, naturally he died). Good thing for Cheney, bush*sucks is such an honorable man. (Yeah, sarcasm)

6. Nah, he won't die.
He'll just slither off into the tall grass and wait for the cash to roll in.

7. Even if Cheney isn't on the ticket...
He will still be there, directing evil.

I would like to see him gone but I think I'd rather have him out where we can see him every once in awhile...
