Dennis's statement opposing the recall |
Dear friends, I have repeatedly spoken out against the recall and will continue to do so. I have a number of friends who are running who are all well qualified and capable for service in high public office and I hope each one of them will get the chance, but I want to stress that I believe the recall must be defeated and I urge all my supporters in California to vote against the recall.

2. Hopefully he will be more successful at opposing the CA recall than |
convincing California Democrats that he should be their party's nominee for President. http://www.heraldtribune.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20030917/APN/309170694

3. Look at who's being polled, though |
If you check the sample, you'll see that it's polling "Registered Democrats". Much of Dennis's support is coming from 1) "lapsed" Democrats who have not voted in years, and therefore are not registered, 2) non-voters, who have not registered at all, and 3) Registered non-democrats, who are registered but are registered as independents or under other parties.
Dennis's campaign is spreading, contrary to what the lazy mainstream media is reporting. All I can say is that there will be a lot of very suprised people after Iowa. :)
