7. I didn't know that all the states dem state reps and senators |
|
were supporting Dean. I knew about Leahy and Jeffords. That is pretty solid support if you think of it every single member of the state assembly and senate who are democrats in Vermont supporting Dean. Given the political makeup of Vermont--left of center state which prides itself on the envirnoment--that is an indication to me that Dean was not as evil as some think as Governor.

More Republicans got elected because of the ugliness during the 2000 Take Back Vermont campaign. Everyone who supported Civil Unions had to run against horrible bashing and hatred spewed against them. And Republicans essentially owned Vermont until a few Democrats got their foot in the door. Leahy was one of them. It's really inane the way you try to blame Dean for everything under the sun. Next thing we see will be you crying foul over getting hemmorhoids and claiming it's all Dean's fault. You know NOTHING about my state.

THe Burlington Free Press had an editorial criticizing Dean for offering NO assitance to Democrats trying to beat Republicans. Dean did not campaign to assist Democratss beat Republicans in 2002 and has been accused of handingbthe state over to Republicans by failing to support his own party's candidates. This is MORE Dean for America Bullshit. You cannot providec any info from sources OUTSIDE of Deans own campaign lies to indicate that Dean has strong suport from Vermont Democrats at all. Find something from OUTSIDE of Deans own campaign crap to make your point.

Doug Racine didn't want Dean to help him because he didn't want to be accused of not being his own man. Dean would have been there if he had of been asked. Again, you know NOTHING about my state.

Gephardt and Kucinich cannot be expected to garner the same degree of statewide support as those who have held statewide office, as opposed to just representing one of a state's many Congressional districts. 11. ...and also strong support from Vermont Republicans. Dean's brilliance |

shines across all party lines. A statesman like Dean is supported and voted for by ALL parties.

19. What we are trying to get rid of as Democrats |
|
Is nearly 25 years of almost complete republican influnce over EVERY aspect of the political life of the Nation. Putting the most conservative democratic candidate to EVER run on the democratic ticket is as useless as having Dems vote for Bush himself.
That conservative is Dean.

I'm a Dean supporter, but items like this don't overly impress me. If Gov. Blagoevic were running for President, I would imagine that virtually every elected Democrat in Illinois would be 'on board' HIS campaign wagon, too. :)
