There then must be a concerted effort to devise and deploy technology solutions with the appropriate policies and procedures to targeted vulnerabilities....."

4. More about Entrust, Dan Burton mentioned.
http://www.govexec.com/dailyfed/0903/091503tdpm1.htm

SNIP...."The Homeland Security Department on Monday announced the creation of a U.S. Computer Emergency Response Team that is designed to become the country's premier "CERT," superseding the private-sector center long run by Carnegie Mellon University...."

SNIP...""This is an attempt to be across the board and have everyone learn" simultaneously about vulnerabilities, Liscouski said. Davidson expressed satisfaction with the reply.

This "shows the is starting to really get organized and implement programs to counter cybersecurity problems," said Dan Burton, vice president of government affairs for Entrust.
